ATLANTA — Innovative-e, Inc. is sponsoring and co-hosting SharePoint Saturday D.C., held December 5, 2009 at the Microsoft Technology Center on Sunset Hills Road in Reston, Virginia. Innovative-e president and CEO, Mike Taylor, is a featured speaker at the event. Innovative-e managing partner, Dux Raymond Sy, is serving as co-organizer with Dan Usher, a network and systems engineer, and Gino Degregori, director of SharePoint Solutions Bravo Consulting Group. Innovative-e is also sponsoring session speaker and SharePoint solutions consultant Erica Toelle.  
 
SharePoint Saturday events are free one-day seminars developed by SharePoint professionals for SharePoint professionals. Join SharePoint architects, developers, and other professionals that work with Microsoft SharePoint Technologies for an educational, informative and lively day filled with sessions from respected SharePoint professionals covering a variety of SharePoint-related topics including administration, architecture, and development.  
 
Mike Taylor’s presentation, “Project Transparency Powered by SharePoint,” will feature practical tools and techniques to help organizations create transparent information management processes. Taylor, president and CEO of Innovative-e, Inc., is a global entrepreneur, experienced business consultant and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with more than 20 years of IT experience. Taylor specializes in solving business problems through project management, custom application development, infrastructure and consulting services for the Global 2000.
 
Erica Toelle will provide a detailed look into, “Content Management in SharePoint 2010: Planning Information Architecture” to help organizations navigate the new tools available in SharePoint 2010. The session will discuss when to use each tool and how they work together to bring control and compliance to an organization’s information. Toelle is a digital native with a business consulting background. Toelle has been helping companies with SharePoint since 2004 by creating business solutions revolving around Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Collaboration, and Communities. She has written several ECM whitepapers for Microsoft explaining SharePoint’s features and how to leverage them in a business context.
