Innovative-e Delivering SharePoint Success Mentoring Workshops are
available in various cities across the U.S.

ATLANTA — Innovative-e, Inc., a business consulting and technology services company that helps clients achieve tangible business results with Microsoft SharePoint solutions, is now offering two-day Mentoring Workshops on delivering SharePoint success. The workshops are facilitated by Innovative-e managing partner Dux Raymond Sy, author of SharePoint for Project Management: How to Create a Project Management Information System (PMIS) with SharePoint, published by O’Reilly Media.

The workshops include 12 hours of in-class personal mentoring, workshop materials, SharePoint project artifacts and templates, as well as breakout group activities to simulate SharePoint project implementation challenges and provide solutions to address them. The interactive workshops provide attendees with best practices and practical techniques in establishing executive buy-in, effectively planning and managing SharePoint projects, developing a governance and adoption plan and much more.

“Microsoft SharePoint has shifted the paradigm in enterprise information management and team collaboration,” said Dux Raymond Sy. “By empowering knowledge workers, SharePoint can increase worker productivity, improve information management practices and streamline business processes. To achieve this goal, effectively managing SharePoint 2007 and 2010 projects is paramount. Executive support, proper planning, and appropriately managing expectations are crucial to ensure SharePoint success.”

Decision makers, project managers, business analysts, consultants and those responsible for the implementation of SharePoint will benefit from the workshops by learning how to:

• Avoid pitfalls that make SharePoint projects fail
• Initiate executive excitement
• Promote organizational buy-in
• Foster user adoption
• Develop an effective and practical project management process
• Apply relevant strategies in mapping business processes to
 identify SharePoint-based solutions
• Identify necessary resources to plan, deploy, maintain and
