Innovative-e, Inc. Managing Partner to Provide PMI Global Congress Attendees with Tools for Boosting Productivity Using SharePoint
Dux Raymond Sy will lead a 90-minute presentation demonstrating how project managers can improve their bottom line using SharePoint.
ATLANTA — Innovative-e, Inc. managing partner, Dux Raymond Sy, will lead a 90-minute educational presentation at the 2008 PMI Global Congress to demonstrate how project managers can leverage SharePoint to increase productivity and efficiency. The three-day congress, featuring keynote speaker General Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.), will take place Oct. 19-21 in Denver, Colorado.
Sy’s presentation, “Ways to Leverage SharePoint for Project Management Success,” will take place on Oct. 19 at 9:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. The session will include an in-depth look at how companies can boost productivity using SharePoint, a collaborative platform based on industry standardized Webbased solutions and Microsoft Office technologies.
Attendees will learn how to use SharePoint as a framework to empower project managers to create a standards-based Project Management Information System (PMIS). This framework empowers project managers to easily create and maintain websites to improve project collaboration by
minimizing information redundancies, automating project communication and streamlining document management practices. Attendees can earn 1.5 Professional Development Units (PDU) by participating in the session.
With more than 15 years of experience in the IT industry, Sy is a leading expert on project management and SharePoint solutions. He is a global entrepreneur and certified project management professional, as well as the author of SharePoint for Project Managers: How to Create a Project
