ATLANTA — Innovative-e, Inc. managing partner, Dux Raymond Sy, will be leading a one-day SharePoint seminar to help executives and upper-level management improve productivity, increase efficiency and facilitate collaboration within their organization using SharePoint technology. The nontechnical, comprehensive executive Learning Tree International seminar will take place Dec. 15 in Alexandria, Va. at The Alexandria, Virginia Education Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
SharePoint is a web-based collaboration technology that empowers organizations to increase worker productivity, reduce information redundancies and streamline document management practices. SharePoint is based on industry standardized web-based solutions and Microsoft Office technologies. Attendees of the Learning Tree International seminar will learn what SharePoint is, how it increases productivity and efficiency and how it offers a measurable return on investment. The seminar will also demonstrate how SharePoint can be used to address common information challenges, including de-centralized storage, non-existent traceability standards and lack of accountability in organizations. In addition, the seminar will provide solutions to help organizations replace intranets, develop project management information systems (PMIS), build web portals, manage e-commerce and adhere to legal compliance standards.

He is a certified project management professional, as well as author of SharePoint for Project Management: How to Create a Project Management Information System (PMIS) with SharePoint.
