Washington DC Chapter of PMI Hosts Skyline Luncheon, Featuring Innovative-e, Inc. Managing Partner, Dux Raymond Sy
Innovative-e, Inc. managing partner, Dux Raymond Sy, will share “7 Ways to Leverage SharePoint for Project Management Success” at a Skyline Luncheon hosted by the Washington DC Chapter of PMI.
ATLANTA — The Washington DC Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMIWDC) is hosting a Skyline Luncheon brown bag event featuring Innovative-e, Inc. managing partner, Dux Raymond Sy. During his presentation, Sy will share “7 Ways to Leverage SharePoint for Project
Management Success.” The luncheon will take place Feb. 19 at the Skyline Office complex in Falls Church, VA. The luncheon will kick off at 12:00 p.m. with an unstructured networking session. The presentation will begin at 12:15 p.m. and end promptly at 1 p.m., followed by an additional 30-minute networking session. Skyline Bailey's Crossroads Luncheons, held the third Thursday of each month, are free and pre-registration is not required.
Attendees of Sy’s presentation will acquire the practical knowledge of how SharePoint can address common project management challenges, such as inefficient communication among stakeholders, poor document management practices and undefined project collaboration standards that can compromise project success. SharePoint is a web-based collaboration technology that empowers organizations to increase worker productivity, reduce information redundancies and streamline document management practices. SharePoint provides a framework that can empower project managers to create a standards-based project management information system (PMIS). By the end of the presentation, participants will be able to identify the benefits of leveraging SharePoint as a PMIS, quantify the advantages of using SharePoint as a PMIS compared to other tools and enhance project team collaboration and communication with SharePoint.
