Innovative-e and Bamboo Solutions Join Forces to Teach You How to Leverage the Power of SharePoint to Successfully Manage Projects
Free half-day workshops are coming to Boston, Massachusetts; Alexandria, Virginia; and New York City in September 2009.
ATLANTA — Innovative-e, Inc., and Bamboo Solutions are partnering to host a series of free half-day workshops September 1, 16, 22 and 23, 2009, on leveraging the power of SharePoint to successfully manage projects within organizations. Each workshop will consist of two sections:
• Leveraging SharePoint for Project Management.
This portion of the workshop will be presented by Dux Raymond Sy, managing partner at Innovative-e, a U.S.-based business technology consulting and services company that helps clients gain competitive advantage through high-performance strategies. Sy is a sought-after speaker, author of SharePoint for Project Management and Bamboo Solutions’ resident expert on all things related to SharePoint for project management. He will provide a general introduction to SharePoint as a platform for project management and lead a practical, interactive discussion on how to create a project management information system (PMIS) with SharePoint.
• Comprehensive hands-on and detailed walk-through of Project
Management Central™ Attendees will learn how PM Central™, Bamboo Solutions’ top selling application for project management, can be used to manage Project Portfolios with its two-layered hierarchical view of aggregated key data associated with all the projects in the portfolio. Attendees will also be provided with their own Site Collection, where they will have an opportunity to build their own project portfolio with assistance from the instructors. The personal site collection will be available to attendees after the workshop, allowing them to continue testing and configuration.

No previous SharePoint experience is required, although general familiarity with the SharePoint platform is recommended. Breakfast and/or lunch will be provided.
