Challenge
The National Student Clearinghouse, a non-profit organization that manages large amounts of documents for schools and universities, was in need of an improved document management and collaboration system to increase efficiency and productivity.

The National Student Clearinghouse needed a cost-effective system that would:

Solution
Innovative-e, Inc. recommended a cost-effective solution, which involved implementing Windows SharePoint Services (WSS), a web-based document management and collaboration tool. WSS is available for free to organizations that have proper licensing for Windows 2003 Server, which made this an economical solution for the National Student Clearinghouse. In addition to deploying WSS technology, Innovative-e also trained IT administrators and all employees who would be using the system to ensure each user understood how to effectively and fully use the technology.

Results
The National Student Clearinghouse now has the tools to increase productivity and efficiency, while eliminating data redundancies. The system will be phased in throughout the organization over time, and Innovative-e will offer custom training for each new user. The organization-wide system will also provide a cohesive platform of collaboration and document sharing, which will further increase productivity.
